About Sarah

Sarah Thorne is a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist and Personal Trainer who has worked in the health and fitness industry for over 13 years. Originally From Dublin, Ireland she came to the U.K. in 2007 to study her first degree in Sports Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention at Middlesex University.

After Graduation Sarah spent four seasons as Head of Medical at Barnet Football Club Academy and worked as specialist Sports Injury Personal Trainer at Virgin Active in Twickenham.

She went on to complete her Masters in Physiotherapy at Kings College London in 2017 and spent 2 years working in the NHS as an ITU and surgical Physiotherapist.

In 2021 Sarah formally specialised in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy and has since been working to keep women active in sport, during their pregnancy and helping new mums returning to activity and high level sport through her combined movement approach to physiotherapy , rehab and exercise philosophy. She now splits her time between working in clinic and running her Personal Training business .

When not working Sarah spends her time running around after her two girls and also enjoys : Strength Training , running , cycling and yoga

Sarah is on a mission to help provide the knowledge and Education to all women on the importance of physical activity on our over all health during pregnancy as well as equipping new mums with the tools and support needed to recover postnatally and return to physical activity.
